History of the Paramount
Built in 1930 and designed by renowned theatre architects C.W. and George L. Rapp, the Paramount Theatre opened as a lavish movie palace during the golden age of cinema. Throughout its history, the theatre experienced changing ownership, periods of decline, and preservation efforts that helped restore its historic character.
